Unfazed deaths
This week, two men faced the call of death. Both were special, both were brave and most especially, both were gifts from the high above. And now, they just had their time – their time to return to that zenith where they truly belong.
Rest in peace, Paolo. Rest in peace, Fr. Andy.
Two men from my dear college, two men who served smiles to the people around them.
Pao, what a survivor
From that brain surgery to that cancer you fought. You lived a short life, brother, but that doesn’t mean you didn’t live a fruitful one.
And to San Beda’s Fr. Andy… The sweetest priest I have ever met. “Laking Fr. Andy ako, eh.” He guided me since my first year in college until the end. And of course, along with that guidance were sweets he would graciously give after retreat confession.
I remember Fr. Andy telling me last year, “Wow, I can’t believe you’re graduating already. Four years na pala yun. Do good after graduation. Pray and believe.” And I will take that advice forever. Thank you Fr. Andy.
