The Advantages Of Loving You
Then they all say that
“Love, it is beautiful, dear”
— though never simple
…
Warm fuzzy feelings
A sense of belongingness
As if you are one
…
When we’re together
That security, your grip
Shall never exchange
…
Your way, yes, your looks
As if you owe me, I’m yours
Dancing under waves
…
The depth of your voice
Makes me linger just longer
Catches me again
…
Then they all say that
“Love, it is beautiful, dear”
— treasure under gold
The Disadvantages Of Unloving You
Disadvantages
Adjustments and such again
But then here I am
…
I said I was fine
Truth is, lies are less painful
Dwelling from sorrow
…
“No one to go with”
Muttered in a few seconds
It kicked like a wound
…
Covering myself
As if I’m invisible
Well it does no help
…
Tried to run away
Yet shadows and ghosts follow
You are one – in me.
…
Disadvantages
Are plentiful in my hand
Do I cover them?
…
Current Salutations
Well there is nothing
I can utter about you
I am lost for words
…
Drifting in my soul
Wounds and questions are alike
I should end this now
…
Time passed as if ours
But it was wasted and thrown
Unfortunately
…
This is not good bye
But a rise of things to come
Yes, but without you
There
I sometimes acquaint
Myself to the things I cannot have
To what I know is impossible
To what is far to achieve
I sometimes beg and
Just plead if right this time I could have
The things in which are improbable
The things that for human grieve
One time in this life
I do not want things
The tangible gifts a person could get
One time in this life
I will not acquaint or beg
For what I know is obscure and let
One time in this life
I will just wait
The lines in between if they met
One time in this life
…
There you are.
